Let’s talk budget allocation for a moment. Occasionally we have hosts that want to renovate their properties, but don’t have the funding to tackle a full-home renovation all at once. We get it! Especially when you already have a home filled with furniture, sometimes you have to take things one step at a time.

That was the case here at Capitol House, an airbnb located just minutes from Lucas Oil stadium in downtown Indianapolis. The host has 5 star reviews and an excellent track record, but he wants to move toward a higher ADR, and a more luxury feel.

As we were deciding which spaces to tackle first, it seemed obvious to aim for the shared spaces—the zones where everyone is hanging out and can benefit from the renovation. We landed on the living room and outdoor space as our focus areas, knowing these will make killer hero shots as well. The full outdoor install will be happening as the weather warms, but enjoy the indoor transformation and some sneak peeks of the outdoor design and current progress in the meantime!
